Gib Board (Plasterboard) - Premium Wall & Ceiling Linings

Premium gib board (plasterboard) engineered for Australian residential and commercial construction. Our comprehensive range of gib board delivers exceptional performance for internal wall and ceiling linings, with specialized options for both standard and wet area applications.

Types of Gib Board

Standard Gib Board features Optimised Core technology with thicker face paper for crisp scoring, clean cuts, and superior breaking strength. Ideal for bedrooms, living areas, and entrance ways where moisture exposure is minimal. Lightweight construction reduces handling fatigue while exceeding AS/NZS 2588 performance requirements.

Wet Area Gib Board (Aquachek) is specifically engineered for bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, and ensuites. Featuring a moisture-resistant treated core, face, and back with distinctive blue face paper, wet area gib board provides extremely low water absorption and zero moisture movement. Perfect as a stable substrate for ceramic tile installation, meeting AS/NZS 2588 water-resistant grade requirements and Building Code of Australia compliance.

Gib Board Sizes & Applications

2400mm sheets suit standard residential wall heights with minimal waste. 3000mm gib board provides efficient coverage for taller walls and reduces the number of joins. 3600mm sheets maximize coverage for large commercial applications and high ceilings, minimizing joints and installation time.

All gib board features recessed edge (RE) design for smooth, continuous joins when taped and compounded. Australian made quality ensures consistent performance across our complete range of 10mm and 13mm thicknesses.
